Hirsch Vineyards Raschen Ridge Pinot Noir 2021
This was a deeply coloured Pinot Noir with a slight spritz and a closed nose. The style seemed clear enough, but the wine felt empty at its core.

The wine comes from the Sonoma Coast, part of Sonoma County on the North Coast of California.
In the glass
The colour was deep for a Pinot Noir. There was a faint prickle of carbon dioxide, and the aromas felt muted and stuffy. It was hard to tell whether it needed more time to open or whether this was as far as it would go. Toward the end it tasted watered down.
